Insight 1. 
The purpose of Life is happiness.

Anything else is just something you do because you believe it will make you happy later. 

Happiness, Joy, Love, Fun, playfulness, forgiveness are all signposts to tell you, that you are heading the right direction. Everything that goes away from happiness is taking you the wrong direction.

Any job, task, career, negotiation, or management issue is handled better from happiness. Happiness is the best management model for business and family, and produces more success than it's counterpart, worry stress and guilt.

Insight 2. 
What you focus on expands

The secret of having is gratitude. What you are grateful for, you have.

Start the day with a quick list of the things you love the most about your life. Then notice these things during the day.

To create more wonderful things to be grateful about write down the new  feelings you want to experience each day. These might be success, family, love, health, happiness, security. Then notice these feelings whenever you can. You will be using a very powerful law of creation. 

Notice how beautiful people are. Notice the the art in sky and clouds. Notice you being excellent. Notice what a delightful person you are.

Insight 3. 
Try to have one happy day.

A clear and powerful intention can create miracles for you day after day.

Set the intention for that and then let it go to work behind the scenes. This uses the subconscious mind to create events that seem miraculous and lucky. 

Every day set your intention for a wonderful day. After all, a wonderful life is just a series of wonderful days. 

One is all we can ever have. One happy day is easy. Just drop the future and the past. 

Discover the divine peace of a single moment well lived.

Insight 4. 
Small shifts produce huge results. 

Just look at the force released by splitting the Atom.

If you want to change your life just do a number of small positive things or stop some small insignificant time wasters and automatically your entire life changes without much effort.  

Pick one small change and do it every day for 21 days until is it a habit. Try the ideas on this page or make up your own mind games that are designed to help you have one happy day. If resistance occurs re-negotiate and make the idea simpler and easier to do.

Examples: Plan your work day the night before and your dreams will give you amazing insights. Work from a list. Start with small things, check them off. Or start your day with the most fun task. You get the idea. Have fun.

Small changes add up, the art is in "what to change" and for this, coaching is effective.

Insight 5. 
Anything you should do, you won't do. 

This is the secret of failed New Years resolutions.

You have an inner teenager who will resist anything that you tell it to do. This is normal and healthy and not a big deal unless you don't understand it. Then it simply ruins your life. So this dynamic is worth knowing about. Avoid the word "should" because there is an implied judgment that you (the inner teen) are bad, or guilty, or not doing something right. This will meet with automatic and potent resistance. 

As a professional coach the very first thing I have to do is teach people to understand and overcome resistance. 

Example: Instead of saying I should lose weight, I might just want to ask myself some questions like why I don't want to do the things I know are correct.

What are you afraid of? What do you hate about exercise? If you do this with true curiosity and NO judgment you will soon be able to dismantle the fear or work around it and create a plan that you can implement. 

When you understand what your fears are, they are easy to laugh at, and let go. Then a new behavior emerges on its own, without resistance.  Good coaching avoids resistance and gently introduces small and easy behavior changes.

Insight 6. 
Only your thoughts cause you suffering .

You can let go of any thought that hurts you.

This realization takes a while to believe but it is useful. At first you will doubt it's true. Later you will notice times when you are just driving in your car thinking stressful thoughts. Then you may consider it possibly true. 

If you were to have a few clearing processes you would immediately see the truth and know that indeed you can change your mind.

Then you would realize that when you change your mind  energy flows in. You laugh. You feel good. Then you get excited about the possibilities and go after a limiting thought you have about sales. Then you notice you are making more money. Its a viscous cycle. Next you go after thoughts you have about intimacy, weight loss, health, and self-love. 

Then you notice all areas of your life starting to improve. You are now on the road to mastery of your mind, inspiration flows in, and you believe you can be freed from suffering.

Then your mind begins to get quiet. A Deep and profound peace begins to be felt.  

A new awareness dawns and more success comes your way with less effort than ever before.

Insight 7. 
Love is behind everything we do.

Look in the mirror every day and say '' I Love You" to yourself until you can feel it. 

Why not. Everything we do is just because we love ourselves so why not go direct. Loving yourself this way may be a taboo in our society but do it anyway. some may consider it Narcissistic to just look at yourself and give love but really it's where love begins. If you love the Earth then start with the little clump of it that's closest to you, YOU. 

A curious things is that even our negative seemingly hateful thoughts are motivated by love. Everything we do in life is to take care of ourselves better. Sometimes we use anger to motivate others or to motivate ourselves but this is because we  to be happy. Sometimes we feel sad, guilty or remorseful to motivate ourselves or others to do a better job etc and although it doesn't work very well it is still motivated by love. 

These negative thoughts are actually the call for love. We are using them to ask ourselves or others for love. Although it is  futile and never works we still do it because we don't know better. Underneath all actions negative or positive is the motivation to care for ourselves so we can be happier and self-love is the motivator.

Insight 8. 
When you love yourself first everyone else is easy. 

Take delight in this beautiful being who you are, you will have a great day.

Just try it you'll see. You will feel a warmth and kindness towards everyone. When you love yourself first you love everyone else automatically with no effort required.

On those days when you truly love yourself nothing will bother you. Any misdeeds, foibles, mischief and mayhem that occur will be greeted with a sense of humor.

If you are in sales you will sell more. If you are an engineer you will think better. If you are an entrepreneur you will have better ideas. If you are a dishwasher you will feel love for the dishes, the patrons, and even your petty tyrant boss.

All our upsets trace back to some guilt, some self doubt, some self loathing, some anger at ourselves that we are trying to project onto others.

So when you love yourself first all your relationships will be easy and joyous.
